Brixie’s Bar is the Chicago suburbs most unique beer destination. We have been owned and operated for over three generations by the Brixie family in Brookfield, Illinois, since 1934.
Brixie’s features a beer savvy staff pouring thirty-two inspired taps. We seek out hard to get specialty beers to compliment our rotating craft and classic American drafts. We also have many craft and American classic, Belgium, and other imported varieties in the bottle and can. We whole heartedly support and are dedicated to the art of American craft brewing.
We also feature distinctive and fresh made-to-order foods from our grill. Our kitchen is open seven days a week with specials every day. We have trained and experienced kitchen staff preparing you the best burgers in town as well as many other delicious home-made delights to choose from.
Brixie’s has a large, open, yet warm feeling interior which is perfect for accommodating your next party or benefit event. Our roomy stage can host most functions as well as live musical performances. There are several party packages available to choose from. Our manager and events coordinator Angie, will be glad to work out a plan that meets your needs.
And also, just to add a little more fun to the mix, we have one projection and two large HD tv’s, two pool tables, three absolutely mint pinball tables, four dart boards, IT video golf, Mega Touch Aurora touch screen game and a digital jukebox system.
The bar, has been in the family since 1934 and has one of the few late-night licenses in the suburbs. Brixie’s is open late seven days a week and we are always glad to call you a cab especially if you need one to get home safe. We also have facilities that can easily accommodate a wheel chair- please just ask your bartender.
